The Community Garden, located off Basswood Drive, is a vibrant space where residents come together to grow, learn, and give back.
Garden Sections
Upper Garden Area: Features 24 plots (12×12 each) and is maintained as a pesticide-free zone.
Lower Garden Area: Offers 25 plots (12×12 each) where pesticide use is permitted.
Water Access: Water is available throughout the growing season for all gardeners.
Community Impact & Education
The garden proudly supports local charities by donating fresh, homegrown vegetables to Helping Hands and the Salvation Army.
Each year, a Children’s Gardening Program is held to educate future gardeners through hands-on experience in planting, nurturing, and harvesting fresh produce.
Clemson University Horticulture Extension Agents provide expert guidance and advice to assist our gardeners throughout the season.
