COMMUNITY GARDEN

The Community Garden, located off Basswood Drive, is a vibrant space where residents come together to grow, learn, and give back.

Garden Sections

  • Upper Garden Area: Features 24 plots (12×12 each) and is maintained as a pesticide-free zone.

  • Lower Garden Area: Offers 25 plots (12×12 each) where pesticide use is permitted.

  • Water Access: Water is available throughout the growing season for all gardeners.

Community Impact & Education

  • The garden proudly supports local charities by donating fresh, homegrown vegetables to Helping Hands and the Salvation Army.

  • Each year, a Children’s Gardening Program is held to educate future gardeners through hands-on experience in planting, nurturing, and harvesting fresh produce.

  • Clemson University Horticulture Extension Agents provide expert guidance and advice to assist our gardeners throughout the season.
