Whether you’re casting a line, launching a kayak, or enjoying a peaceful afternoon by the water, Woodside Plantation offers several lakes for recreational use. Please review the lake access information and fishing guidelines below before visiting.

Burden Lake & Holley Lake
Access: East end of Holley Dam with two designated off-road parking areas. Please keep vehicles on the pavement.
Fishing: Permitted from WPPOA Common Area Property along the Holley Dam shoreline.
Please Note: Fishing is not permitted on Woodside Country Club property, including the north ends of both lakes and the nearby ponds.
Magnolia Lake
Access: End of Magnolia Lake Road.
Parking: Street parking only. Vehicles are not permitted on the access lane leading to the dam.
Fishing & Launching: The common area along the dam shoreline is available for fishing and launching kayaks or other approved watercraft.
Oakman Lake
Access: Off Woodside Plantation Drive.
Gate Access: A gate key is available for sign-out at the Main Gate.
Parking: Limited off-road parking is available inside the gate.
Royal Lake
Access: Basswood Drive beside the Community Garden.
Gate Access: A gate key is available for sign-out at the Main Gate.
Additional Information
- Spalding Lake and Cunning Lake are privately owned and do not have public access.
- Only manually propelled or electric battery-powered watercraft are permitted.
- Internal combustion engines are prohibited on all Woodside lakes.
